Mandelieu-La Napoule Tourist Information
A short car journey to the west of Cannes along the coast road, or two stops by train, is La Napoule. On the sea side of the station is the museum of Henry Clews.  A New Yorker, who moved to the south of France in 1918 acquiring the Château de la Napoule, then a ruin. With his wife, Marie, he renovated it and created formal gardens with fountains and topiary.  Open every day from 10am to 6pm. It hosts many art exhibitions during the year. There are guided visits at 11.30am, 2.30pm, 3.30 and 4.30 costing six euros. Treasure hunts are organised in the garden for children.
You can have lunch or afternoon tea at the cafe on the ramparts - open 1 April to mid- September.
The chateau is also available for private hire - for 20 to 1500 people.

The Brocherie 11 at the harbour is a fine fish restaurant with a 38 menu which includes five starters, not a choice of five - all of them.  You can go à la carte.  See their excellent video which is as good as their food.
