La Napoule Tourist Information
A short car journey to the west of Cannes along the coast road, or two stops by train, is La Napoule. On the sea side of the station is the museum of Henry Clews.  A New Yorker, who moved to the south of France in 1918 acquiring the Château de la Napoule, then a ruin, with his wife Marie renovated it and created formal gardens with fountains and topiary.  Open every day from 10am to 6pm. It hosts many art exhibitions during the year.

Walking into the town centre will lead you to Le Néapolis, a bar and brasserie at 11 rue Charles Pierrugue, where for 11.20€ you can have a good sized main course and a pudding or coffee.  Wine is 7€ for a half litre carafe.  A large beer is 4.60€.

Friendly staff and a regular clientele.

The Brocherie 11 at Mandelieu harbour is a fine fish restaurant with a 38 menu which includes five starters, not a choice of five - all of them.  You can go à la carte.  See their excellent video which is as good as their food.
