Central Restaurants

IX Nove can be found just off the Croisette - turn left a block after the Carlton if walking east -opposite the entrance to the Miramar. This is a real innovation for Cannes - a modern restaurant that combines the best of Florence's cuisine with mediterranean ingredients plus a hint of Asian flavours. Heaven!
Chef Rino Collazzo (left) has created an original fusion menu. Director "LouLou" runs a tight ship and the service is first class, relaxed and unobstrusive. The IX is the symbol for success and happiness, perfectly describing the experience.
It is open for lunch and dinner Monday-Friday and is open for Saturday dinner, closed Sundays. Besides a la carte, there is a daily changing two course lunch for 15 euros and a three course menu for 29 euros available for lunch and dinner(till 10pm). Wines start from 20 euros.
The restaurant is available for group bookings.

SeaSens, the restaurant of the Five Hotel & Spa, is on the top floor. Having eaten there we can highly recommend the food, the staff and the location.  Set lunch meals from 39, a la carte about 45 and dinner 100. 22 rue Bivouac-Napoleon. The food crosses continents, with strong Asian overtones. see website

You could be forgiven for walking past this entrance and be unaware that it is L'Affable Restaurant.  Once through the doors you are welcomed into a smart, modern but comfortable 60 seater restaurant.  Regulars know it well and come here to enjoy excellently cooked and well presented lunch or dinner.  A three course lunch costs 24€ or 20€ for two courses. Souffles are the restaurant's signature dish, both savoury and sweet.

There is also a 38€ menu and à la carte with lobster, fillet of beef or rack of lamb.

Waiters and waitresses and the well dressed Laura Laugier in charge are charm personified - a worthwhile experience.

5 rue La Fontaine (turn right off rue d'Antibes, going east, after Darty).  O4 93 68 02 09 Good idea to book.

Brad Pitt and his wife dined here during the film festival.

Sparkling, on rue des frères Pradignac, is a well established bar, restaurant and club and has had a makeover for 2012. It is open Tuesday to Saturday.

On the first floor is the Patio restaurant - average price for a meal 40 euros.

The ground floor is a lounge bar. It has a restaurant area Thursday to Saturday from midnight to 4am.

The club is now called L'Appart with pop, house and RnB music. Every Wednesday is silent night when you wear headphones to listen to the music and dance. How drole!

Sparkling-L'Appart is available for private events.

Sparkling is on the western edge of what is known as the Carre d'or - an area packed with restaurants, bars and clubs located between the Croisette and rue d'Antibes.
