Book Shops
Two shops could interest the visitor, the Cannes English Book Shop (

éon (tel: 04 93 99 40 08) and Cha
pitre at 7 rue des Belges (tel: 04 93 06 23 33).
Obviously, the first stocks books written in English including recent publications, as well as guide books to the area. It is up for sale as its owners want to retire - let's hope it stays an English bookshop.
The second is French but stocks some English books as well as a good range of dictionaries and French language tuition primers including a very good teaching series called Echo.
