Art Shops
At the top end of pedestrianised Rue du Suquet is a turn to the right.  There you will find an art shop where you can pay several hundred euros for a painting and 5 for a beer.  The narrow corridor where the pictures are hung leads you into a quaint garden with a cherry tree where you are warned to beware falling cherries.  Yes it's that sort of place.
Young friendly staff including Melanie whose English is excellent after eight months in Australia (don't say it).  She will serve you a glass of kir (4.50€) to accompany a salmon and broccoli quiche (6€).  Other dishes at 10€-13€.  Opens at 5pm.

Le Sug'art is at 2 rue de Frère au Suquet, tel: 04 93 38 90 67

Anita Maison is a painter and sculptress.  She works in bronze which retail for between 2000€ and 6000€.  You can commission an item but before it is bronzed she will require a significant deposit because bronze is expensive.

Her shop and workshop NITAM are at 4 rue du Suquet, a continuation of the pedestrianised rue St Antoine.  Tel: 04 93 68 20 73.  Mobile: 06 85 55 95 33.
